Affiliate agreement · Version 1.2 · Effective 6 September 2026
The terms, in full
Written to be read, not to be survived. This program is new and you would be among the first in it, so if anything here is unclear or seems unfair, say so before you apply — it is much easier to change now than later.
Who this is between
You, and ICONIC Human Design, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company at 1771 West SR 89A #2516, Sedona, AZ 86336 ("ICONIC", "we", "us"). ICONIC operates theHumanDesignSystem.com, humandesignbusiness.com and laveena.ai; "our sites" means all three. "ICONIC Human Design Education" is a trading name of the same company.
You are an independent contractor: not an employee, not a partner, and not an agent. You cannot enter agreements, make promises, or speak on behalf of the school, Jovian Archive, or IHDS.
What you earn
Commission is worked out in slices, the way income tax is. Each slice of the sale pays its own rate and the results add together — so a bigger sale always pays you more, never less.
| Slice of the sale | Rate |
|---|---|
| The first $997 of the sale | 20% |
| The part between $997 and $3,997 | 12% |
| Anything above $3,997 | 6% |
| Example | They pay | You earn |
|---|---|---|
| A $299 reading, bought with your 15% code | $254.15 | $50.83 |
| A $299 reading, no code used | $299.00 | $59.80 |
| A $997 reading, no code used | $997.00 | $199.40 |
| The $1,800 LYD Guide Training, training tier | $1,800.00 | $295.76 |
| The $3,450 Analyst Level I, training tier | $3,450.00 | $493.76 |
| A $3,997 program | $3,997.00 | $559.40 |
| A $17,997 program | $17,997.00 | $1,399.40 |
No single order pays more than $1,500, however large it is. Orders settling under $97 do not pay a commission.
What "the sale" means
The amount the customer actually paid, minus sales tax, minus any refund. Not the list price. If a customer used a discount — a purchasing-power adjustment, a seasonal offer, your own code — commission follows what they paid. Processor fees are not deducted: we absorb those.
What is commissionable
Readings and analyses, and the business and career programs on humandesignbusiness.com. The current list is in your approval email, and we will tell you in writing at least 30 days before anything leaves it.
The training tier
Your approval email names your tier, and there are two. Everyone approved is on the readings tier. The training tier additionally pays commission on the Living Your Design workshop and Guide Training, the Foundation and Guide package, Analyst certification, and the Human Design Life Coach Certificate.
The training tier is offered only to people who have trained here: certified LYD Guides, Analysts, and current students. If you are on the readings tier, a training enrollment you refer pays you nothing, and we would still rather you sent the person to us than said nothing at all.
Trainings carry no customer discount. Your code does not apply to them, and commission is worked out on the full price rather than a discounted one. Do not offer or imply a discount on a training.
One rule specific to this tier: introduce, do not sell. Prerequisites, suitability, and whether someone is ready are ours to assess, so send the person to us and tell us their name in writing. You are credited for 90 days from that message. Talking someone into a training, or answering questions about their fit for one on our behalf, is grounds for removal even though the enrollment itself is commissionable.
What is not, permanently
Lifeline Analyst Mentoring, and Coach By Design bought on its own. This is not a rate of zero on either tier: it is a request that you not promote them at all. Mentoring is open-ended one-to-one work that either of us can end at any point, so there is no moment at which a referral fee on it could be called settled. Coach By Design is already included free with every certification enrollment completed online.
You are of course free to say that you trained here, to describe what the training was like, and to send someone to us to ask about anything at all, commissionable or not. That is not promotion; it is your own history, and we would not ask you to hide it.
How a sale gets credited to you
Your link sets a cookie in the reader's browser that lasts 60 days. If they buy anything commissionable in that window, it is yours — even if they leave and come back, and whether they pay by card, Apple Pay, or PayPal.
Being straight with you about what will not track:
- Someone who clears cookies, or reads on their phone and buys on their laptop.
- A click on one of our sites that converts on another. The three sites cannot share a cookie. If you send people to theHumanDesignSystem.com and they buy on humandesignbusiness.com, that does not track today.
- Last click wins. If a reader clicks your link and then another affiliate's before buying, the other affiliate is credited.
If you close a sale in conversation, tell us. Name the person in writing before their first call with us and, if they buy within 90 days, it is credited to you regardless of what the cookie says. Our larger programs are closed in conversation, not at a checkout, and we would rather pay you than let a tracking gap decide it.
When you get paid
On the 15th of the month after the sale, once 30 days have passed. We send you the list of what you are being paid for. Payment is by PayPal in US dollars; balances under $50 roll into the next month.
If a sale is refunded
Refunds are governed by our published Refund & Cancellation Policy, and by that policy alone — this page deliberately does not restate it, because two descriptions of one policy drift and the drift always gets read against whoever wrote them. If a sale is refunded or partly refunded under that policy, your commission is reduced to match.
When that happens the difference is deducted from your next statement. We will never send you an invoice, and if you never refer another sale, we write it off rather than chase you. Nothing is deducted more than 120 days after we paid it.
Telling people you earn from this
This one is a legal requirement, not a house preference, and it protects you as much as us. US law treats you as an endorser and your commission as a material connection that has to be disclosed clearly wherever you recommend the work.
This wording is enough, in your own voice, right next to the recommendation:
I earn a commission if you book through my link.
Where it has to go:
- Written posts and articles — near the link, visible without clicking "more". Not only at the bottom of the page.
- Video — said out loud when you mention us, not only in the description.
- Podcasts — in the segment itself, in your own voice, and again in the show notes.
- Email — in the body, near the link.
- Stories and live video — say it while you are talking about us. If it is a story, put it on the frame.
These do not count on their own: "affiliate link", "#affiliate", "#partner", "#collab", "#ad" buried in a block of hashtags, a platform's own paid- partnership label, or a line in your bio.
If you are quoted on our testimonials page and you become an affiliate, we will add a note beside your quote saying so, or take it down. Your call which.
What you can't say
Not house style — these are the claims that would put both of us in front of a regulator. They apply however you phrase them, and a "results may vary" line does not rescue an overstated claim.
- Nothing medical or psychological. Not that a reading treats, heals, manages, or helps with any condition — including burnout, anxiety, depression, fertility, chronic illness, or addiction. Not that it substitutes for care, and never anything that would discourage someone from seeking it.
- No income or business-results claims. No revenue figures, no "I tripled my rates", no screenshots, no "replace your salary". This matters most for the career and business programs, which is exactly where the temptation is.
- No promises about outcomes. Not that a reading will fix a marriage, land a job, or resolve a decision. Describe what it is and what it was like for you.
- Nothing you have not experienced. If you say you had a reading, you had one. If you say something worked for you, it did.
- Do not speak for us. Not for ICONIC Human Design Education, not for Jovian Archive, not for IHDS, and not for Dr. Archers personally. No AI-generated audio, video, or writing presented as her.
If your view of the work changes, tell us and we will deactivate your code. No explanation needed and nothing held against you — we would much rather that than have you recommending something you no longer believe in.
How you can't promote
- No paid ads on our names. Not "LaVeena Archers", "The Human Design System", "ICONIC Human Design", or close variants, on any ad platform. Someone searching our name already found us; a commission on that click is one we would be paying for a customer we already had.
- No domains using our names, including review and coupon variants.
- No coupon, deal, or cashback sites.
- No setting the cookie without a real click — no hidden frames, auto- redirects, or pixels. This one is not just a program rule; people have gone to prison for it.
- No unsolicited email or DMs. Your own list, that opted in, is fine.
- Don't buy through your own link. If you want something, ask and we will sort you out directly.
Tax
We need a W-9 from you if you are in the US, or a W-8BEN if you are not, and we will ask for it before your first payment.
If we do not have one when a payment is due, we still pay you — but US law then requires us to withhold 24% and send it to the IRS, and you would have to recover it through your own tax return. Nobody wants that, so the form is worth five minutes. Send it and the withholding stops on the next payment.
If you are in the US and we pay you $2,000 or more in a calendar year, you will get a 1099-NEC in January. That total counts everything across all three sites, since they are one business.
Ending it
Either of us can stop at any time, for any reason, by saying so.
Everything you have already earned gets paid, and any referral still inside its 60-day window still counts. The only exception is fraud or deliberate misrepresentation, and if we ever believe that we will tell you what we think happened and give you a chance to answer before withholding anything.
If we think something you have published breaks the claims rules above, we may pause your code while we talk about it. A pause is not a termination and does not forfeit anything you have earned — it stops the clock rather than the money.
When it ends, three things carry on: take down or correct anything of yours that broke the claims rules, stop using our name and logo, and keep the disclosure on anything of yours that stays up and still carries your link. Everything else stops.
Changes to these terms
We will give you 30 days' written notice before any change that reduces what you earn, and it will not apply to referrals already inside their window. Anything you published before a change keeps earning at the old rate for those 60 days.
The unglamorous bits
You may use our own name and logo — ICONIC Human Design, and the names of our three sites — to link to us and to say you recommend the work. You may not alter them, use them in your own logo or domain, or imply you are part of the school beyond whatever training you actually did.
That covers our marks and nothing else. It does not extend to Jovian Archive, IHDS, Ra Uru Hu, or the Human Design marks, because those are not ours to give. Dr. Archers is Education Director of Jovian Archive; that is a role, not a license to pass their trademarks on to anyone. Do not use their logos, do not describe yourself as certified or authorized by them beyond training you have actually completed, and do not imply this referral program is theirs or endorsed by them.
Naming Human Design as the subject you are writing about is a different thing entirely and is obviously fine — you cannot recommend a reading without saying what it is. The line is between describing the work and wearing someone else's badge.
Tracking is software and software fails. We will fix what we can see and we will take your word for a referral we cannot find — but we cannot promise a system that never misses one, and we would rather say that now than imply otherwise.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts sitting there.
