What is Human Design?

The fixed vocabulary. Every mark on a bodygraph belongs to one of these, and each has its own reference set.

The 9 Centers
Each center is a hub of energy with a function. Defined, it works the same way every day; open, it takes in and amplifies what others bring, which is where conditioning enters.
The 64 Gates
Every gate of the bodygraph with its meaning, its six lines, its harmonic gate, and the dates the Sun passes through it each year.
The 36 Channels
A channel is two activated gates joined across two centers. It defines both centers and gives the chart its consistent life force; every channel has its own guide.
The Circuits
Channels and gates group into circuit families, Individual, Collective and Tribal, with sub-circuits inside them. The circuit a channel belongs to is what decides who its energy is for.
The 13 Planets
Each planetary body programs particular gates and lines, and carries a different meaning here from the one it has in astrology. The Sun and Earth alone account for seventy per cent of the imprint.

What moves: transits and cycles
The natal chart is fixed. The program running through it is not, and it runs on a schedule.
Transits
Where the Sun is now, which gate and line it is activating, and what the transit field is doing to everyone at once. The same mechanic as the life cycles, at speed.
Life Cycles
The Saturn Return at 30, the Uranus Opposition at 40, the Chiron Return at 50, the second Saturn, and the annual Solar Return. What each one is and why you feel it years early.
The 2027 global cycle change
The Cross of Planning ending and the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix beginning, the Regulus to Fomalhaut shift, and where the line falls between the collective program and your own life.
The Rave
What the mutation is producing. We are Homo sapiens in transitus; the Rave is what follows. Quad right as the identifying mark, and who can bridge to them.
Between people
What happens to a design when it is not alone. Two people, three to five, and ten or more are three different mechanics.
