Coach a real person with it
Knowing the mechanics and using them on someone who is paying you and struggling are different skills. This part teaches the second one.

What is a Human Design Life Coach?
A Human Design Life Coach works with clients over time using their chart as the working map: Type, Strategy, Authority, and Variable inform how the coach asks questions, sets homework, and paces the engagement. It is a coaching relationship rather than a one-off chart analysis. This certificate is the training that produces one, covering the system, the client work, and the business in a single path.
What is included in the certificate?
Three programs, taken together. Fundamentals: Living Your Design Awakening, Human Design ABC's - Diving Into the Matrix as Fundamentals 1, and Human Design Cartography as Fundamentals 2. HD Professional, previously published as Coach By Design, which is the client-facing practice training. And Business Basics for Beginners: 58 self-paced lessons across 7 modules on entity structure, brand, workflow, and finance, including a sales section open to professional students only. Bought separately, the four priced parts come to $4,944; Business Basics carries no price of its own.
Do I need any Human Design background to start?
No. The certificate starts at Living Your Design, which assumes nothing, and moves through the fundamentals before any client work. It is built for someone starting from zero as well as for a coach already in practice who wants the system underneath what they already do.
How is this different from Human Design certification?
A certification trains chart analysis to a professional standard and takes years. This is a certificate of completion across three programs, aimed at coaching rather than analysis: it teaches the system, then the client relationship, then the business. If you want the analysis credential instead, Living Your Design Guide certification is $1,800 and Analyst Level I is $3,450, both at /certification.
Can I take just one part?
Yes. The fundamentals courses and HD Professional are all sold individually at /courses, and HD Professional is included at no extra charge with either certification enrolled through online checkout. Business Basics for Beginners has no standalone price. The certificate is the parts taken together as one path, which is what makes it a credential rather than a stack of classes.
Is this a license to practice therapy or clinical care?
No. Coaching is not therapy, medical care, or mental health treatment. Recognizing clinical territory and referring out is taught inside HD Professional, and the certificate says you are trained to coach with Human Design, which is what it says honestly.
How is the training delivered?
On HumanDesign.Live. The fundamentals and HD Professional run as video training with illustrated materials, live Zoom discussion, demonstrations, and real-time Q&A, with the recordings kept. Business Basics is self-paced written lessons with downloadable worksheets and two video lessons. Community access comes with all of it.
What this certificate claims, and what it does not
It certifies completion of three programs and trains you to coach with Human Design. It is not a license to practice therapy, counseling, medical care, or mental health treatment, and it does not represent itself as one. Recognizing when a client needs a clinician, and handing off well, is taught inside HD Professional. That boundary is taught because a coaching practice built without it does not survive contact with real clients.
