Every item below is already published, already free, and already there whether you join or not. The ledger adds no homework. Each one credits once, and the number above is the ceiling for a single account, for the life of it. There is no way to earn past it.

We publish this split because most of the ledger sits in the last row. Marking a level done is an honor system, and we would rather say so than dress it up. The 48-hour settle is there so a burst of completions can be looked at before it is worth anything.

What it is worth

Three bands, each against named readings.

A single pooled balance you could spend on anything sounds more generous and pays worse: a fixed credit gets thinner as the order gets larger, so $50 against a $997 reading would be a worse deal than the public newsletter code. Bands keep the discount honest at every price. Every one of them is worth at least 14% off the most expensive thing it can be spent on.

About the training

Certification costs the same for everyone.

Certification, mentoring and Coach By Design sit outside this program in both directions: no credits are earned on them, and no credits can be spent against them. A credential means something because everyone holding it met the same bar at the same price, and a school that shaved its own students’ fee would be telling every graduate who came before that the assessment was a sales channel. Your credits buy readings. Your certificate is earned in the room, and it is priced the way it is priced.

Read this before you join

Straight answers.

You cannot spend credits yet.
Earning is open. Join today, work through the list, and your balance is recorded and keeps. What is missing is the last step, turning a balance into a discount code, and there is no date for it. Nothing is lost by waiting: the list is the same size whenever you start, and every item on it is free.
Credits are not money.
They have no cash value, they cannot be sold, transferred or given to anyone else, and they cannot be paid out. They are a discount on readings we deliver ourselves and nothing else. If you close your account the balance goes with it.
One ledger per email address.
The balance belongs to a confirmed mailbox, and each unit on the list credits that mailbox once. There is no referral bonus and no multiplier, which is the same reason the ceiling is a number we can print: 159 credits is the most this program will ever issue to one person.
One code per checkout.
Stripe takes a single discount code per order, so a Study Ledger credit will never stack with the newsletter offer or with an affiliate's code. Take whichever is larger. That is why the smallest band is still worth at least 14%, a reward you would rationally decline is not a reward.
Your expiry date is set the day you join.
A balance runs for 18 months, and the date is stamped onto your membership when you enroll and shown on your ledger. We can change that number for people who join later. We cannot move it closer for you, and the program is built so that we could not do it by accident.
What the terms are, and when they change.
The version of these terms you agreed to is recorded against your membership, so it is always knowable which set you joined under. The wider site terms are at Terms, and the refund policy on readings does not change because a credit was used.
