The Study Ledger: A Loyalty Program That Pays You for Studying

I have been immersed in this system since 2012, and in that time I have watched a lot of people work very hard on the free material and then go quiet. They read the library, they run charts for their families, they get through the whole curriculum, and none of that ever shows up anywhere. It leaves no trace. The only thing this site has ever been able to see is whether somebody bought something.

So I built a ledger for the other half.

The Study Ledger is open now at /study-ledger. It is free, it takes an email address and nothing else, and it counts the work you do on the free material.

The rule that shapes the whole thing

No amount of money earns a credit. Not one. You could spend five figures with me and your balance would still read zero until you opened a curriculum level.

That rule sounds more noble than it was. It came from the plumbing. Most of what I sell does not report back to this website. The courses, the community and the live certification all live on Mighty Networks, which has no connection into this site at all. The PayPal button completes a sale entirely inside your browser and tells the site nothing. Even the thank-you page you land on after a card payment receives no order details.

So a points-per-dollar program was never really available to me. It would have run on one payment rail, missed the largest thing I sell, and shortchanged the people who bought the most. Building it the other way around meant building it on the one thing this site can see honestly, which is what you have studied.

Then I noticed the inversion was better than the thing I could not build. A program that pays for spending pays the wealthiest students the most. A program that pays for studying pays the most diligent ones. For a school, that is the right way round.

What you can earn, in full

The whole list is 159 credits. There is no daily streak, no bonus multiplier and no way to grind it. You finish the list and the list is finished.

Every one of those is free and already on this site. The curriculum is the five levels. The practice drill is the twenty charts. The Nine-Centered Being is the book I wrote to replace the ebook that went dead.

A credit you mark yourself settles after two days. That is a deliberate pause, not a delay in the system. It gives an obvious mistake room to be undone before the number counts for anything.

What credits will be worth

Three bands, each against a named list of readings.

Band A reaches the Overview Reading, the Coaching Session and the three substructure follow-up sessions. Band B reaches the Child Analysis, the four cycle readings, the Family Analysis, the Foundational Analysis, the Primary Health System session and Rave Psychology. Band C reaches the Initial Analysis Session and the Relationship Analysis, and it opens once you have bought something before.

The bands are not one pooled balance on purpose. Each one has to be clearly better than the public newsletter discount for everything it can be spent against, or the credit you studied for would be decorative and you would rationally use the free code instead. Keeping the product lists narrow is what lets me check that, product by product, instead of hoping it averages out.

The part that is not switched on yet

Nothing is spendable today. The ledger counts, it shows you your balance, and there is no button that turns a balance into money off. That side is still being built.

I could have waited and announced the whole thing at once. I would rather open the counting now, because the earning is capped and finite, and the students working through the curriculum this month should have that work counted rather than lost. If you would rather wait until a credit can be spent, nothing is lost by joining later. The list is the same size whenever you start.

Three things it deliberately does not do

It does not touch certification. Living Your Design, the Analyst training, the mentoring and the Lifeline package are not in any band and will not be. A commissioned discount should not be selling entry into the lineage, and that is a line I would rather hold in code than in good intentions.

It does not read your chart. The ledger stores an email address, a balance and which items you have completed. Signing in to save a chart and joining the ledger are two separate decisions, and joining is never done for you.

It does not run forever. Your credits are good for eighteen months from the day you join. That date is stamped when you join and never moves afterward, so if I change the window later it applies to people who join after the change and to nobody who is already in.
