A transit conditions wherever you have openness: most simply an entire Center that's undefined in your own chart, but an open gate or channel inside an otherwise defined Center picks it up too. Defined, with the gate itself activated, runs its own steady theme regardless of what the sky is doing.
Throat
An undefined Throat has no consistent voice of its own; how you speak changes with the company you keep. The conditioning theme is trying to attract attention: talking to be noticed, interrupting, or acting under pressure to prove you exist. Healthy, the undefined Throat waits to be invited into conversation and can become a gifted, versatile communicator.
Root
An undefined Root absorbs and amplifies the stress pressure around it, feeling it more intensely than the people generating it. The classic conditioning is hurrying to be free of the pressure: rushing tasks, saying yes to get things over with, living in a permanent race to an empty inbox. The wisdom side is knowing which pressures are actually worth acting on.

Gate 31 line 6 no longer leads from the front. It has already led, and what is left is the example other people measure themselves against. Gate 41 line 6 no longer chases the next want either. It has been through enough cycles of wanting to watch the whole arc from outside it, rather than living inside the middle of it.
Gate 31 is influence: a voice a room follows. Gate 41 is the pressure to feel something new, the opening move of the stream that runs through desire and commitment and out the other side. On the sixth line, both of them are done being active participants in their own process. What is left is observation: influence through having already been there, wanting through having already learned what wanting actually costs.
Today is less about things beginning than about things arriving at their reckoning. A warrant issued only after months of unrest have already run their course. A disciplinary case opened only once the tournament itself is over. A death toll reported not at the start of an epidemic but at a grim, considered milestone well into it. Sixth-line days tend to look backward at a process rather than forward into the next one.
A 31.6 day makes it easy to mistake the withdrawal for irrelevance. A role model who has stepped out of the daily fray still carries real weight, and it is easy to underestimate someone who is no longer visibly campaigning for influence, on the assumption that only the people still in the room have any left. The sixth line’s influence works precisely because it already has the room’s attention, without needing to ask for it.
45-21 and 30-41 are both still running underneath, resources and the pressure to want both holding their long shape while this last line of the gate does its quieter work of looking back rather than forward. The Nodes have not moved all week: still 30.6 and 29.6, the same far-end lines of desire and commitment that the Sun and Earth have been circling since this gate began.
