1.4 Million Views as I Enter My 15th Year of Experimenting With Human Design

Today the view counter on my YouTube channel, The Human Design System w/ Dr. Archers, passed 1,400,000.

I have been immersed in Human Design since my first reading in September 2012. That makes this month fourteen years, and the start of my 15th year of experimenting with it. So this is an anniversary post, for the channel and for the experiment. To write it I went back through the channel’s whole history, all the way to the first upload, because a number this size only means something once you can see what it’s made of.

It started with an invitation

The very first upload went up on October 8, 2014: a three-minute explainer called “Colored In or White?” about the defined and open centers in a bodygraph. It has 20,106 views today.

Three days later I posted two short videos under the title “A Human Design Projector Experiment.” I was 37, a 3/5 Emotional Projector, two years past my first reading, about a year and a half into formal study (I started Rave ABCs in May 2013), and at the very beginning of my first seven-year cycle of deconditioning. I had no plan for a channel. I had a plan to document my own experiment in public and see who wanted to come along. Here is how I put it then:

Through writing and social media I am beginning to document my experiment of following my strategy and honoring my inner authority. If you’d like to join me on this journey, it would be fun to have you along for the ride.

And in the second one:

If you’re new to Human Design, the only difference between you and I is that I have a little bit more time experimenting with this knowledge.

That is still the most honest description of what I do. Twelve years and more than 1,200 public videos later, I have more time experimenting. That’s the whole difference.

I also told you I would make mistakes along the way, because that is how a 3/5 learns, and that I would share what didn’t work so you wouldn’t have to repeat it. I have kept that promise more often than I’d like to admit.

The first thing I read on camera was my own cross

Between those first uploads, I recorded a short run of Rave I’Ching readings, one line at a time: Gate 30 Line 3 on October 10, Gate 29 Line 3 on October 13, Gate 14 Line 5 on October 20, and Gate 8 Line 5 on October 21.

Put those four together and you have my Personality Sun, Personality Earth, Design Sun and Design Earth. That is my Right Angle Cross of Contagion, read aloud line by line, in order. I didn’t frame it that way at the time. Looking back at the upload list for this post, it’s the most 3/5 thing I could have done: start with my own chart, try it on in public, and find out what holds.

The Gate 30 reading was about desire, the burning pressure to feel everything from hope to pain and back again. I ended it by saying that accepting what is was my way of living with that gate. I would say the same thing today.

By the numbers

• 1,400,941 public views as of September 15, 2026.
• More than 164,000 hours watched. If one person had watched around the clock, that would come to about 18 years and 9 months.
• 23,500 subscribers and more than 1,200 public videos.
• More than 5,000 comments.
• The first 100,000 views took about three years, from October 2014 into the fall of 2017.
• 2024 was the biggest year, with close to 290,000 views, and August 2024 was the biggest month the channel has ever had: nearly 72,000 views and 2,008 new subscribers.
• Viewers in the United States watch the most, followed by Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia and the Netherlands.

What you came for

The most-watched video on the channel is almost 11 years old: “Human Design vs Astrology: Why Your 3/5 Profile Matters More,” from November 2015. It has 68,905 views and 262 comments, and people still find it every week.

The most loved is “Projectors Aren’t Built to Work Hard,” from June 2020: 46,900 views, 2,155 likes and 283 comments, the most likes and comments of anything I have posted. Right behind it in views is “Human Design Explained: Stop Making Decisions Without This,” from December 2014, one of the first things I ever put up, at 41,788.

Look down the list and a pattern shows up. Of the eleven most-watched videos, five are about Projectors, two are about Emotional Authority, and the top one is about the 3/5 Profile. That’s eight of the eleven on my own design. It lines up with what I promised in 2014: to share what I learned from living my own chart, mistakes included. The material I teach best is the material I have lived.

The comments tell the same story. On the Projector video, people write that they cried while watching it, that they had spent years trying to be something they were never built to be, that they finally understood nothing was wrong with them. One viewer came back a year later to go through it again with their notes. On the 3/5 video, someone asked back in 2017 whether we could start a 3/5 mutual support group, and the replies kept coming for years. A viewer still learning English wrote that they could understand every word. Thank you for every one of those comments.

How you found me

A Projector’s strategy is to wait for the invitation. I said so in my very first welcome video, and I have watched it play out in the channel’s traffic reports ever since.

More than 266,000 views on this channel started with a search. Someone typed a question into YouTube and my answer came up. Another 212,000 came from YouTube suggesting one of my videos next to something they were already watching.

A search is about as close to an invitation as the internet gets. Nobody lands on “Human Design vs Astrology” by accident. They were already asking. My part is to answer the people who asked, and for a Projector, being asked is the correct way in.

Following the energy

The biggest jump the channel ever had came in the summer of 2024. That was when I started posting short clips and going deeper into the mystical material: the Rave Penta, the Rave babies being born now, the mechanics behind the shift coming in 2027. August brought nearly 72,000 views, more than any month before or since.

That September, in a class on Gate 49, I described what I was seeing:

My stance on being able to remain relevant has always been to follow the energy. What is it that people are interested in? What is it that they’re valuing?

What they valued, it turned out, was the deeper information that has traditionally been locked away. I have kept following that thread. “Human Design Predicts Major Global Changes Coming in 2027,” from October 2020, still picks up new viewers every day as that year gets closer; the month it came out, 1,655 people subscribed. And the newest video climbing fastest right now is “Human Design’s Most Dangerous Pattern,” from this July, with more than 5,000 views and 62 comments in under two months.

Fourteen years in

In that 2014 welcome video I said that power comes from experiential wisdom: knowledge you have lived, acted on when it’s correct, and held back when holding back is correct. Fourteen years in, that is still the whole method.

The experiment is still running, and my teaching still moves. This week I published why I now count five aura types after more than a decade of teaching four, and why five is only where the subtype teaching starts. That’s what an experiment looks like from the inside. You keep what holds, and you say so out loud when something changes.

In 2014 I was at the very beginning of my first seven-year cycle of deconditioning. That cycle has come and gone, and the second one is well underway.
