Intermediate 2: Profiles, Lines & Incarnation Crosses

This path answers the question most students arrive with: what am I here to do? Jovian Archive has compiled Ra Uru Hu's lectures on Profile, the lines and the Incarnation Cross into 26 lessons, about 36 hours in all, delivered as audio, video and an ebook.

The line material is the foundation, and it is easy to underrate. Each of the six lines has its own way of meeting the world. A first line wants foundations and study; a fifth line is pulled toward being seen as the solution to someone else's problem. A Profile forms when a conscious line pairs with an unconscious one, and once you can hear each line's quality, a Profile reads as a role: the costume a person wears while living out their cross, with its own way of learning, relating and being seen.

The Incarnation Cross is drawn from the Personality and Design Sun and Earth. There are 192 crosses in the system, and each belongs to one of three geometries: the Right Angle of personal destiny, the Juxtaposition of fixed fate, and the Left Angle of transpersonal karma. Every gate on the wheel also sits in one of four quarters, which gives a cross its register before a single keynote is read. In my analyst classes I teach students to orient by geometry and quarter first, before they open a reference book to a specific gate.

I also teach that an Incarnation Cross reading is never a first reading. Strategy and Authority come first, because until someone has been experimenting with their own decision-making for a while, the question of why they are here becomes something the mind grabs and runs with. This path is best heard in the same order: after the BodyGraph material, and after some time living your own experiment.

The scale of the compilation is part of its value. Profile and cross are subjects students tend to learn in fragments, one keynote at a time, and hearing Ra work through lines, Profiles and crosses across a single sustained body of lectures makes the connections between them much easier to hold.
