The Sun opens a new gate today, after five and a half days in Gate 16, landing in Gate 35 line 1, which wants change, but not change taken on faith. The Earth sits in Gate 5 line 1, wanting its natural rhythm grounded in something verified before it commits to the pattern. Between the two lies roughly 70% of the field you are standing in.
Gate 35 is progress and restlessness, the throat gate hungry for the next experience, impatient with staying still. Gate 5 is fixed, natural rhythm, the sacral gift for waiting until timing is genuinely right rather than merely convenient. Paired on the first line, both slow down before they move.
