A transit conditions wherever you have openness: most simply an entire Center that's undefined in your own chart, but an open gate or channel inside an otherwise defined Center picks it up too. Defined, with the gate itself activated, runs its own steady theme regardless of what the sky is doing.
Throat
An undefined Throat has no consistent voice of its own; how you speak changes with the company you keep. The conditioning theme is trying to attract attention: talking to be noticed, interrupting, or acting under pressure to prove you exist. Healthy, the undefined Throat waits to be invited into conversation and can become a gifted, versatile communicator.
Sacral
An undefined Sacral has no consistent life-force energy of its own. It borrows and amplifies Sacral energy from others, which feels energizing in the moment but isn't sustainable. Undefined Sacrals (Projectors, Manifestors, Reflectors) can outwork Generators in bursts and then crash. The classic conditioning is not knowing when enough is enough: overworking, overeating, overcommitting.

Sun and Earth are both on the second line today, the Sun in Gate 35, progress, the appetite for the next experience, and the Earth in Gate 5, steady, natural timing. Together they carry roughly 70% of the field. Gate 35 line 2 changes course only where the fit was already wrong. Gate 5 line 2 keeps its natural rhythm and lets outside pressure interrupt only the part that deserves interrupting.
On the second line, both become selective rather than sweeping. This is the Hermit line again, discriminating, refusing what genuinely does not belong to it while leaving everything else untouched. It does not overhaul a whole system. It corrects the specific piece that has actually gone wrong.
Two armed groups lay down weapons while two others, under the same deadline and the same pressure, decline. Two diplomats are expelled while the rest of a mission stays in place. A film gets withdrawn from circulation only once the person actually harmed by it objects, decades after it was made. In every case the response is targeted.
Selective refusal can look inconsistent from the outside, as if some parties are escaping consequence while others aren’t. The second line’s whole function is discriminating between what fits and what doesn’t, case by case, rather than applying one rule to everyone regardless of the facts. That is where the trap sits on a 35.2 / 5.2 day: expecting uniformity from a line that was never built to provide it.
Underneath today’s narrower business of who gets singled out and who doesn’t, the Nodes hold at 55.4 and 59.4, the long story between spirit and closeness. The transit again completes 15-5 and 17-62, rhythm and precision both still live in the field.
