that's undefined in your own chart, but an open gate or channel inside an otherwise
defined Center picks it up too. Defined, with the gate itself activated, runs its
own steady theme regardless of what the sky is doing.
An undefined Heart has no consistent willpower of its own, and no fixed sense of self-worth. Around defined Hearts it amplifies will energy and then overcommits, promising more than it can sustainably deliver. The core conditioning theme is proving: working harder, promising bigger, and undervaluing yourself to demonstrate worth that was never actually in question.
An undefined Solar Plexus doesn't generate emotions but takes in and amplifies everyone else's, often feeling their feelings more intensely than they do. The classic conditioning is avoiding confrontation and truth to keep the peace, becoming a chronic pleaser out of fear of triggering emotion. Healthy, it's an empathic screen that reads emotional weather with remarkable wisdom.

The Sun is in Gate 40 line 3 today, Aloneness in the mode of the Martyr. The Earth is in Gate 37 line 3, Friendship carrying the same trial and error signature underneath it.
Gate 40 is the hand that does the work and then needs the rest, the single willing party in a bargain who must be able to withdraw once the effort is spent. Gate 37 is the other half of that arrangement, the warmth and the handshake, the emotional agreement that says this is what we are to each other. Line 3 does not accept either of these on description. It has to run the deal to find out where it holds. A commitment gets made, gets worked, and the terms that were never actually workable show themselves under load rather than on paper.
What the day tends to produce, then, is outcomes arriving before understanding. Arrangements that looked sound at agreement reveal their real cost in the doing. Someone leaves a group, a contract terminates, a product meets its audience and the audience answers. In each case the information was unavailable until the thing was attempted. Line 3 pays for its knowledge with the attempt, and the receipt is the correction.
The common misreading is treating a broken bond as evidence of poor judgment. Line 3 bonds are made on purpose and broken on purpose, and the breaking is how the mechanism reports back. The other misreading is expecting the warning to work. Advice offered in advance does not land here, because the line only registers what it has lived through. Someone can be told exactly what will happen and still need the experience before the telling means anything, and that is functioning normally.
The wider field is dense in the same direction. Both gates are activated at once, so the channel between them completes on its own, the community bargain running as a full circuit with nobody else needed to close it. The North Node in Gate 30 meets Pluto in Gate 41 and completes a second channel, desire and fantasy pressing for an experience they have imagined but not yet had. Mercury sits in the sixth line of the same gate as the Sun, watching from a distance while the third line does the trying. The Moon and Saturn are both in Gate 21, one in the fourth line and one in the fifth, control and its limits pulling at each other. Mars in Gate 39 provokes, Venus in Gate 32 is measuring what has lasting value, Uranus in Gate 20 line 6 and Neptune in Gate 25 line 6 both sit at the top of their hexagrams, and Jupiter in Gate 7 line 1 offers a rule that has not been road tested yet.
So the shape of the day is experimental rather than instructional. Deals get entered, worked, and revised by their own results, and the ones that survive contact are the only ones that were ever real.
