Rave Cosmology 2: The Mystical Way

The Mystical Way is Ra Uru Hu's teaching on why human beings have looked for God, and what in the bodygraph has been driving that search. He taught it in the winter semester of 2006, and it runs 13 hours across 10 lessons. He treats the mystical as mechanics: a circuit with its own pressure, its own stream and its own ending.

The course traces a stream that starts with the need at Gate 19 and moves through tribal gates into individual ones: the touch of 49 and 37, the power of 40 and 51, love at 25, self-love at 10 and expression at 20. Four channels carry it, and Ra gives each one its own lecture under a cosmological name: Communal Ritual (49/19), Tribal Spirituality (40/37), Mystical Direction (51/25) and the Nature of the Mystical Being (10/20). Read this way, the Mystical Way is a circuit in its own right, crossing tribal and individual circuitry.

The middle of the course reads the way through the profile lines. Each line carries its own pressure: to wonder, to receive a call, to attune, to influence, to call, or to separate. Ra looks at each one from the design side and the personality side, because the body's predisposition and the mind's experience of the same pressure differ. Along the way he takes up individuality, mutation and magic, the tribal demand for sacrifice, and creativity understood as receptivity. He also sets out why the coming age is deeply individualistic, and why the denial held in Gate 40 is where the individual process begins. The final lecture returns to the lines of the way itself.

Underneath all of it runs the theme the rest of the series develops. This path belongs to the present cycle. Ra teaches that 2027 brings the mystical circuit to an end in the form it has always had, as the Gate 19 pressure behind it is cut off, which means the search for God as humans have known it is winding down. I read that as a reason to walk it consciously while it is here, since for those of us alive now it remains one of the last full chances to do so.
