The Rave Cosmology Series

The Rave Cosmology is the mystical and cosmological side of Human Design. Ra Uru Hu taught it as seven courses between 2005 and 2007, and the full set runs to 86 hours across 75 lessons, in audio with an ebook. Across it he covers where the system came from, what a human being is made of, how a life ends, where the species is headed, and the stars behind the whole planetary program.

I came to it slowly. About five years passed between meeting my own design and taking these classes seriously, and I think that sequence helps. The cosmology lands best on top of an experiment you are already running with your own Strategy and Authority. Much of it cannot be tested the way that experiment can, so I hold it as a mythology with mechanics inside it.

Take the volumes in the order Ra numbered them, which is the order he gave his own students. Bhan Tugh comes first because it supplies the vocabulary every later volume uses: the crystals of consciousness, the magnetic monopole, the Eron and the Child. The Mystical Way follows with the circuitry of the spiritual search and the theme of its ending. Dying, Death and Bardo puts the crystals and the monopole to work at the end of a life. The 2027 Semester gives the mechanics of the mutation and of the Rave, and Brahma's Night and Beyond carries that forward through the cycles after 2027 and out to the scale of the Totality.

The last two volumes turn back toward the individual chart, carrying everything the first five established. Profile, Purpose and Function reads the twelve profiles with Color and the transpersonal roles beneath them, and The Nature of the Stars closes on the stars your Nodes connect you to. Each volume also stands on its own. If one subject is calling you, starting there works, and you will simply meet a few terms before they have been introduced.

Because every volume comes with its ebook, you can listen, read, or do both. Some students find Ra's spoken delivery hard to absorb and do better reading along, and the transcripts make that easy.
