The Type Series: Strategy, Signature and Aura

The Type Series is Ra Uru Hu's set of four video lessons on the Types, about two hours in all, and every lesson is built on the three pieces named in the title: the aura, the Strategy and the Signature. When a student or a client wants to hear Ra talk about their own Type, or the Type of a partner, a child or a business partner, this is the set I point them to.

Ra starts from the aura because Type is read from it. The aura is the frequency you carry into a room before you speak, and each Type has its own. The Manifestor's is closed and repelling, the Generator's is open and enveloping, the Projector's is focused and absorbing, and the Reflector's is resistant and sampling. Once you know what your aura does to the people around you, the Strategy stops sounding like a rule. Informing, waiting to respond, waiting for the invitation and waiting out a lunar cycle are each the way one kind of aura meets other people with the least friction.

Each lesson pairs the Strategy with its Signature, the felt sign that the experiment is on track: peace for the Manifestor, satisfaction for the Generator, success for the Projector and surprise for the Reflector. Opposite each Signature sits the not-self theme: anger, frustration, bitterness and disappointment. This is the part I teach the most. If you are chronically angry, frustrated, bitter or disappointed, treat it as a signpost, and go back to experimenting with your Strategy.

One note on the count. These lessons present four Types, with the Manifesting Generator taught inside the Generator and Manifesting Generator lesson, because that is how Ra taught Type from 1997 on. I count five now. The Manifesting Generator is its own type, the older generative construct the Generator branched off from, and I set out the record and my reasons in my article Four Types or Five? on this site.
