An undefined Ajna processes information in variable ways depending on who's around, which makes it mentally flexible and potentially deeply wise about ideas. The conditioning theme is pretending to be certain, clinging to fixed opinions and beliefs to feel mentally secure. Healthy openness sounds like 'I could be wrong,' and enjoys ideas without needing to defend them.
An undefined Solar Plexus doesn't generate emotions but takes in and amplifies everyone else's, often feeling their feelings more intensely than they do. The classic conditioning is avoiding confrontation and truth to keep the peace, becoming a chronic pleaser out of fear of triggering emotion. Healthy, it's an empathic screen that reads emotional weather with remarkable wisdom.

The Sun is in Gate 47 line 2, Realization. The Earth sits opposite in Gate 22 line 2, Openness.
Gate 47 is the pressure in the mind to make sense of the past. Raw experience arrives unsorted, sits there, and produces a low-grade oppression until it resolves into a pattern that can be told. Line 2 is the Hermit, and it changes how that resolution happens. The sorting runs on its own, underground, with no method anyone can watch and no work anyone can be shown. When the pattern surfaces it surfaces complete, and its owner often cannot account for where it came from. There was nothing to build. The material was already filed.
With the Earth in the openness of 22.2, the day’s grace is the same kind of thing: unforced, natural, present without being arranged. Both ends of this axis are gifts that were already there. And both work the same way, which is that they are accurate when something outside asks for them and thin when they step forward to offer themselves. The 2 is at its most itself alone, and at its most useful when called.
What this looks like in practice is a day with two speeds. Uninterrupted time does the real work, and it does not look like work while it happens. Then a question comes in from someone else, or a situation asks something specific, and the answer is already assembled and comes out in one piece. Leaving a gap between those two speeds is the whole skill. A realization that has not surfaced yet is still cooking, and pushing on it turns insight into commentary.
The usual misreading is that solitude here means unavailability, so the day gets defended and nothing ever calls the gift out. The mirror mistake is treating a natural gift as a thing to advertise, which puts the 2 in the position of proving something it never had to earn. This line loses its accuracy the moment it volunteers. Stay reachable, stay unbusy, and let the ask arrive.
The wider field pushes hard on the mental end. The Moon in Gate 64 line 1 completes 64-47 for the day, so the images and half-finished memories keep pressing on a mind whose only honest answer is to wait for them to clear. Mercury in 46.2 with the South Node in 29.6 completes 46-29, the channel of discovery, where a yes given with the whole body finds what analysis could not reach. The North Node in 30.6 with Pluto in 41.2 completes 30-41, the desire to begin something whose shape is not visible yet. Saturn in 21.4 argues for restraint over control, Mars in 53.5 supplies fuel for new thinking without a destination for it, and Neptune in 25.6 will happily dress up an unfinished feeling as a conclusion. Trust what surfaced on its own. Doubt what arrived because you went looking.
