The Rave

The 2027 material describes a change in the program. This page is about what the change is producing. We are Homo sapiens in transitus, a form in passage, and the being on the other side of the mutation is called the Rave.

Some platforms file this topic under the name Homo Solaris. The term used in this lineage, and by Ra, is the Rave.

Two keynotes, one mutation

The clearest way into this is the pair of keynotes. Ours is support. We are the form that builds bargains and institutions, that agrees to feed and educate people who cannot yet feed and educate themselves, and that holds together by arrangement. The Rave's keynote is demonstration, which is a different proposition entirely: to be a thing rather than to argue for it.

This is the same kind of change as the one in 1781, when the seven-centered being became the nine-centered one we are now. That transition did not make the previous form worse. It made it previous.

Quad right: the identifying mark

Ra's criteria for recognizing a Rave are the four arrows at the top of the bodygraph, and all four point right.

The four arrows are the Variable, and right-facing here has nothing to do with correct. It describes receptivity rather than strategy.

What is missing from the Rave's design

The striking part of the Rave bodygraph is subtraction. Much of the individual circuitry we carry is absent, and without those channels there is no mutative pulse to hand into a group and no innovation arising within large numbers of people. Individuality survives. What it is for changes.

Our individual keynote is empowerment: the mutation in one person becomes available to everyone around them. The Rave's is demonstration, which means giving oneself over to the group dynamic rather than disturbing it. Ra also expected the physical form to differ, with maturation running slower and a metabolism needing considerably less sustenance than ours does.

Rave Pentas do not mix with ours

A Penta is guided by an alpha, and this is where the separation becomes concrete. A Rave alpha cannot guide or control a human Penta, and a human alpha cannot guide or control a Rave Penta. The two forms do not interoperate, in the same way their components do not.

The bridge, on Ra's account, is narrow: someone born after 2027 carrying the Right Angle Cross of Laws who is also quad right. That person can stand inside a human Penta and still reach a Rave one, and there is no other route through. Having studied the material does not qualify anybody, and it is the most common wishful claim in this whole subject.

What is a Rave in Human Design?

The Rave is the form the current mutation is producing: the being that follows Homo sapiens in transitus, which is what we are. Ra described it as still being people while no longer being human, in the way that we are no longer the seven-centered being that preceded us. Some platforms use the name Homo Solaris for the same emerging form. The teaching in this lineage calls it the Rave.

What does quad right mean?

That all four arrows at the top of the bodygraph point right. In the Rave this is not a variation, it is the identifying mark: a passive brain and body system, a receptive mind, the observer environment and peripheral perspective, all four together. Ra treated that combination as the obvious criterion for recognizing one.

Am I a Rave if I am quad right?

No. There are quad right humans alive now and there have always been. Being quad right makes modern life harder rather than making you the next species, because our societies are built to reward left-facing strategic behavior and give very little credit to receptive qualities. A quad right human is a human.

Will I meet a Rave?

Almost certainly not. The odds of anyone alive today having a Rave in their family, let alone encountering a functioning Rave Penta, are very slim. Most of what the 2027 material means for people now is indirect. Anyone selling you a personal relationship with the coming species is selling you something that does not exist yet.

According to Ra, a narrow group: someone born after 2027 with the Right Angle Cross of Laws who is also quad right. Human Pentas and Rave Pentas do not mix, and an alpha of one cannot guide the other, so the bridge has to be a person who can stand in both. Studying the material does not qualify anyone for that role, and this is the point in the 2027 conversation where wishful thinking is most common.
