Human Design Transit Watch: Sun in Gate 3 Line 1 and Earth in Gate 50 Line 1

The Sun enters Gate 3, the Gate of Ordering, in the second half of April, with the Earth opposite in Gate 50, the Gate of Values. Gate 3 is classically named difficulty at the beginning, and that is exactly what it is: the mutative pressure of something new that has not yet found its form.

This is an annual transit. The Sun crosses Gate 3 around April 16 to April 22 each year, spending a little under a day in each of its six lines, so the specific pairing below comes around every spring.

The axis: Gate 3 and Gate 50

Gate 3 sits in the Sacral and forms the 3-60 Channel of Mutation. Real newness does not arrive on demand. It arrives the way a seed cracks: long stillness, invisible pressure, then something exists that did not exist before. Under this transit that pressure is in the air collectively.

The Earth grounds in Gate 50 in the Spleen, part of the 27-50 Channel of Preservation. Gate 50 holds values: the tribe’s sense of what is worth protecting and what the rules are actually for.

Between them, the Sun and Earth account for roughly 70% of the neutrino information imprinting us at any moment, which is why this one axis is worth following when the rest of the planetary transit picture gets noisy.

Line 1 of Gate 3 is the ability to hold steady at the center of confusion until the pieces begin to sort themselves. The 1st line always wants a foundation, and here the foundation is simply staying put while the new thing finds its shape.

Earth in Gate 50 Line 1

Underneath, Line 1 of Gate 50 establishes its footing first, on the principle that values mean little without the discipline to live them daily. New order above, and below it the question of whether the old rules were ever actually practiced.

What to do with a transit

The program is not your life. A transit describes the weather in the collective field, not a set of instructions for you personally, and the difference between those two things is most of the skill.

What it changes for you depends on your own chart. If Gate 3 or Gate 50 is already activated in your design, this transit is amplifying something you carry all the time. If the gate is open in you, you are picking it up from the environment and it is not yours to act on. Either way the decision still runs through your own type and strategy and your own inner authority, never through the transit.

Transits are worth watching because they explain the room, not because they tell you what to do in it.
