George Washington's Human Design: The Chart Maia Can't Compute

A note on the form of this chart. This is a nine-centered bodygraph, and the nine-centered being dates to the 1781 mutation. This birth is from 1732, 49 years before it. The sky is not in question and neither are the Sun and Earth gates or the incarnation cross; what does not transfer cleanly is everything that depends on the shape of the graph, which is to say type, authority, definition and which centers read as open. Those describe a vehicle this person did not have. Why there are no pre-1781 bodygraphs sets out what that costs and what survives it, and works through a thought experiment about the form that came before.

Every chart in this series so far has been checked two ways: the site’s own engine, and Maia Mechanics, Human Design Professional Software licensed from Jovian Archive, as a second opinion. Washington’s chart breaks that pattern, and not because of a data problem with him.

Washington’s own birth date carries a wrinkle before any chart software gets near it: Virginia was still on the Julian calendar and a March 25 new year when he was born, so his contemporaries recorded the date as February 11, 1731. The February 22, 1732 date used everywhere today, including on the calendar he adopted for his own later correspondence, is the same day converted to the Gregorian calendar Britain and its colonies switched to in 1752. Astro-Databank uses the converted date, and so does this post.

Why Maia Mechanics couldn’t run this one

Maia Mechanics’ chart-entry form enforces a date range of 1800 to 2100. Washington’s 1732 birth falls seventy years outside the software’s own floor, so there was no version of this chart to enter and cross-check. That’s a fact about the tool, not about the quality of Washington’s data, which is rated AA, the top tier, sourced to a quoted family record. This is the first chart in the series computed on the in-house engine alone, with no second reading available, and it’s worth stating directly rather than skipping the caveat.

What holds across the day

I ran the full twenty-four hours of February 22, 1732, Westmoreland County, Virginia, at one-minute resolution in the site’s own engine. Three things never move:

• Defined centers: G Center, Spleen, Sacral, Throat, and Solar Plexus, tied together through seven complete channels including 20-34, Charisma, 10-34, Exploration, 10-57, Perfected Form, and 34-57, Power

That combination of centers, run through a Throat with three separate paths into it, describes a design built for direct, embodied action that has to be seen and heard doing it, not one built to sit on a decision in private. Personality Sun and Earth sit in Gates 55 and 59; Design Sun and Earth sit in Gates 34 and 20, at his stated 10:00 AM.

Three boundaries in the day

His stated 10:00 AM sits close to nine hours clear of the morning boundary and better than ten hours clear of the evening one, comfortably inside the wide 4/6 window that runs from just after 1:00 AM until nearly 8:25 PM. Type, Authority, and the five defined centers hold at every single one of the 1,440 minutes I checked, regardless of which side of any boundary the real time falls on.

What this leaves you with

A Manifesting Generator, built to respond and then move fast once the response lands, with an Emotional authority that means no decision made in the heat of the moment, on a battlefield or in a room full of people arguing, was ever one to trust without sleeping on it first. None of that depends on the fine-grained boundary work above. It’s true across roughly nineteen of the day’s twenty-four hours, and his stated time sits inside that stretch with real margin.

What isn’t safe to claim is a verified second opinion. Until Maia Mechanics extends its own supported range, or another licensed source willing to compute a pre-1800 chart turns up, this one stands on the in-house engine’s math alone, checked against itself at every minute of the day rather than against outside software. That’s a real limit on this post, not a footnote, and it’s the reason this entry exists in a birth-time series at all: a Rodden AA source can still leave a chart with only one method behind it.

His last Solar Return, and the day he died

On December 12, 1799, Washington spent about five hours on horseback in snow, hail, and freezing rain, riding his farms, and sat down to dinner still in his wet clothes. By the next evening his throat was raw; through December 14 the infection his physicians called quinsy, and modern doctors reading their notes suspect was acute epiglottitis, closed his airway while they bled him four times. He died at Mount Vernon that night, the first death of an American president. The time survives because his secretary Tobias Lear stood at the bedside and wrote down what he saw: Lear’s firsthand account, preserved by Mount Vernon, places the death between ten and eleven o’clock. This post states it the same way, as an hour-wide window; the record fixes the night and the hour, and stops short of the minute.

His last Solar Return fell on February 22, 1799, the Gregorian date he had adopted for himself, his sixty-seventh and final birthday. This series prints return numbers straight out of Maia Mechanics or not at all, and the year 1799, like 1732, sits below that software’s 1800 entry floor, so his final return goes uncomputed here rather than published on lesser authority. The date is the fact this section can stand on, and the record of the day he died carries the rest.
