John F. Kennedy's Bardo: The Hours After Dallas

Ra Uru Hu taught the Bardo, the structured unraveling that follows physical death, using his own passing in 2011 as the illustration his students would carry forward. John F. Kennedy’s chart brings the series to its most publicly documented death: an official hospital pronouncement, timed to the minute at Parkland Memorial Hospital and carried in the JFK Library’s account of the day.

What happened in Dallas

Kennedy was riding in an open motorcade through downtown Dallas on November 22, 1963, when he was shot at 12:30 PM Central as the cars passed through Dealey Plaza. He was rushed to Parkland Memorial Hospital, where doctors worked on him for close to half an hour before he was pronounced dead at 1:00 PM. He was the fourth sitting president to die by assassination, and the first since William McKinley in 1901.

Where transit Earth stood

In Ra’s teaching, death is a separation. The two aspects of a design that carried the body through its life, the one that placed it here and the one that kept it running, leave the physical form for good, and what stays behind for a while is the personality: memory, self-image, conditioning, still present with no vehicle left to drive. Ra taught that this remainder dissolves on a schedule, three line-stations in a fixed order, and the order is set by a single mechanical fact: the gate and line transiting Earth held at the moment of death.

At 1:00 PM Central on November 22, 1963 (7:00 PM Greenwich time), computed directly in Maia Mechanics, Human Design Professional Software licensed from Jovian Archive, transiting Earth sat in Gate 8, line six, the line that, on the living side of the wheel, is “contribution matured into communion”, uniqueness offered as connection. Earth held that same gate and line at 12:30 as well; the half hour between the shots and the pronouncement doesn’t move it. A line-six entry opens the sequence at the wheel’s last station and wraps it back around to the first: vision, then time, then surrender, typically closing out over roughly a day to a day and a half.

What this doesn’t reach for

Ra went a layer deeper for his own case, naming the Guardian planet, the one exalted at the exact line his Earth held when he died. That layer lives in the Rave I’Ching, and this site has no licensed source for it, so this piece stops at what transit Earth’s position was and which stage it opened.
