Hillary Clinton's Human Design: What Survives Dirty Data

This is the third chart in a series about what a Human Design reading can honestly claim when the birth time is not documented. The first two were Esther Hicks, whose date is solid and whose time was invented by a blogger, and Bob Marley, whose time comes from a biography and whose date he disputed himself.

Hillary Clinton’s data is worse than either, and her chart comes out of it in better shape than either. That is the interesting part.

As always with public figures, this is mechanics from public birth data. No politics and no verdicts.

The messiest data of the three

Astro-Databank rates her birth time DD, meaning dirty data: two or more conflicting quotes, none of them qualified. There is no birth certificate in public circulation.

The times that actually circulate:

• 8:00 AM, the one most astrologers use.
• 8:02 AM, reported to Astro-Databank in 2003 by a caller who said they had it from a Clinton office associate. This is the time behind both of my earlier readings of this chart.
• 8:00 PM, which Clinton herself has reportedly given.
• Around 2 AM, proposed by an astrologer who later recanted it.
• Around midnight, from an unconfirmed chiropractor account.

There is also a newspaper report quoting her mother saying she was born just in time for breakfast, which is not a time but does point at a morning.

So: five candidates spanning twenty hours, for a chart that has been read publicly for decades.

What survives all five

I computed every candidate, then every quarter hour of the full day. Three things never move at all.

Her natal design is Manifesting Generator. Not for most of the day. For all of it. There is no hour of October 26, 1947 that produces any other type. That is unusual, and it is worth contrasting with Marley, whose type flips from Projector to Generator in the evening.

All three of her channels hold. Across every candidate time and every quarter hour:

• The 20-34 Channel of Charisma, Sacral to Throat, in the Integration circuit.
• The 31-7 Channel of the Alpha, G Center to Throat, in collective logic: leadership by election rather than decree.
• The 43-23 Channel of Structuring, Ajna to Throat, in Individual Knowing.

The design side of her incarnation cross holds, 31/41, and for four of the five candidates the whole cross is stable as the Right Angle Cross of the Unexpected (28/27 | 31/41). A right angle is personal destiny.

Everything she has terminates in the Throat. Three separate channels, three different circuits, one outlet.

The one thing genuinely at stake

Here is where the dirty data bites, and it bites in exactly one place.

Authority. Born before 07:36 in the morning, the 12-22 Channel of Openness completes, the Solar Plexus is defined, and she has emotional authority. Born after 07:36, that channel is not there and she has sacral authority.

That is not a detail. Emotional authority sits at the top of the hierarchy and overrides everything below it. It means no truth in the now, and clarity only after riding out the wave. Sacral authority means the opposite: an immediate guttural response in the moment, available on the spot.

Two of the five candidate times, midnight and 2 AM, put her on the emotional side. The other three put her on the sacral side.

The weight of evidence favors sacral. Her mother’s breakfast remark points at morning after 07:36. Three of the five candidates, including the two most widely used and Clinton’s own reported answer, give sacral. And the two candidates that would make her emotional are the weakest sourced of the set: one was recanted by the astrologer who proposed it, and the other is an unconfirmed secondhand account.

So the published reading holds. But it holds by twenty-six minutes.

A correction to my own earlier caveat

In my 2017 reading of this chart I wrote that type and authority are the most stable parts of a chart and rarely change even when a birth time shifts by a few minutes.

Type, in this chart, is completely stable. Authority is not. It turns on a boundary less than half an hour from the time everyone uses. The general claim was too comfortable, and this chart is the one that shows why: the stability of type says nothing about the stability of authority, and they have to be checked separately.

The thread running through all three

All three charts in this series carry the 43-23, and in all three it is among the material that survives the bad data.

There is a reason for that beyond coincidence. Ra identified the 20-57 Brainwave as one of the two channeling channels, meaning a channel that tunes into something beyond. I have added two more: the 43-23, and the 30-41 Channel of Recognition in the collective abstract, which is the one I carry myself. The list is not comprehensive and is what I have come to so far.

Clinton’s version has a feature the other two lack. She carries the 43-23 and the 20-34 Charisma together. Those two channels sit in opposition on the wheel, and their gates are next-door neighbors: 23 beside 20, and 43 beside 34. As I have written elsewhere, the 43-23 is the guidance system for the 20-34’s missile. Most people meet that pairing through another person. She has both ends of it inside one bodygraph.

What you can responsibly say

That her natal design is Manifesting Generator, carrying the 20-34, the 31-7 and the 43-23, with everything running to the Throat, most likely on the Right Angle Cross of the Unexpected. That her authority is probably sacral, on the balance of the sourcing, and that this is the one claim in the chart doing real work on an unverified twenty-six minutes.

Not the color, the motivation or the determination. Those move with every candidate time and are worthless here.

The pattern across all three charts is the same. The parts that survive bad data tend to be the structural ones: type where it is stable, the channels, the direction of flow. The parts that fail are the fine ones everybody likes to quote. Which is a reasonable argument for spending less time on famous charts and more on your own, where you can actually verify the time.
